Megan tells Laurel about her desire of writing a biography about the cosmetics magnate. However, she feels left out when Laurel takes control and reveals that she intends to entrust the job of writing her biography to a ghost writer instead. However, not to be sidelined easily, Megan continues to slog and research Laurel’s past to learn more about her. Her investigations, soon lead Megan to uncover a dark secret that reveals surprising facts about Laurel’s past.
In the meantime, Rose and Sage start taking the services of a publicist named Patty Kingston, to further improve their fame and popularity as well as get career advice. However, the two girls soon discover that they both have different goals when Rose believes that school is more important for them while Sage talks to Patty about a career in modeling. Also Charlie is convinced that he will be happier with Mandy than he would have been with Megan.
