Megan tries to create a connection between Laurel and the twins, in an attempt to bring the family together. She suggests to Laurel to allow the twins to participate in the latest advertising campaign for her cosmetics company.
However, Megan’s plan fails Laurel denies her request saying that the girls cannot participate in the campaign as the photo shoot for the same will be held in Europe. Laurel feels that this will require the girls to remain absent from the school for several weeks and also cause hindrance for Megan as she will not be able to tutor the girls in the right manner.
On the other hand, Megan’s relationship troubles with the opposite sex become even more profound. David not only puts a stop to his friendship with her but also distances himself form her, after realizing that his feelings for Megan are getting in his way.
Meanwhile, Megan faces a crisis in her new relationship with Jacob, when she realizes that she is not the only woman in his life. As she is convinced that Jacob is still in love with his former girlfriend, Megan begins to feel that her own relationship with him is under threat.
