Privileged Season 1

The American comedy drama, Privileged started airing on the CW Network on September 9, 2008. The show was based on the bestselling author Zoey Dean’s book named How To Teach Filthy Rich Girls. Although, initially the show was supposed to have the same name as the book, it was later changed to Surviving The Filthy Rich, before finally being cognized as Privileged. The CW network had initially ordered only 13 episodes of Privileged, but since the audiences liked the show, the network ordered an additional five episodes for the season bringing up the total number of episodes to 18.

However towards the later half of the season, Privileged was not able to garner much good rating, which led to the networks decision of not bringing the show back for another season. Hence, the show which centered on the life of a young Yale graduate who enters the world of the rich and the powerful, when she gets the job of tutoring the spoiled twin granddaughters of a cosmetics tycoon, was cancelled only after airing its first season. The final episode of Privileged TV show was aired on February 24, 2009, which also marked an end of its very short journey.
