Archer is best known for her role in ‘Fatal Attraction’ which also fetched her, an Academy Award nomination as Best Supporting Actress. Anne Archer is the daughter of actors Marjorie Lord and John Archer. So, I guess she knew from the very beginning what she wanted to be. Archer stared her career in the year 1970 with the movie ‘The All- American Boy’. But her major break through came almost seventeen years later with the movie ‘Fatal Attraction’. We have also seen her in movies like ‘Clear and Present Danger’ and ‘Short Cuts’.
As far as her television career is concerned, most recently we have seen her in shows like ‘The L Wind’, ‘Ghost Whisperer’ and ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’. Currently she is working in CW’s ‘Privileged’ where she is playing the role of Laurel Limoges, a grandmother to twin girls.
Looking into her personal life, the actress first married William Davis in 1968; but later divorced him. She married Terry Jastrow in 1979 and has one son from each marriage.
