After the conclusion of this eighteen episode long season, bafflingly the series was not renewed for more seasons. It is a strange and hard to admit decision by The CW. The series was being widely liked and there was a huge air of expectation regarding its renewal for another season. Anyways, its only season will always be remembered among the best.
Privileged is centered on a highly ambitioned girl named, Megan Smith. In spite of being employed with an ordinary tabloid agency, she aspires to be on top of the world of journalism. Her dreams are shattered when she is fired from her job. However, her respite comes from a cosmetic giant named, Laurel Limoges. He offers her the job of live in tutor for his granddaughters, which she accepts. However, the girls are rebellious of this new addition. Megan is fully adamant on winning their acceptance. She enjoys the high-class privileges in her new dwelling. Megan falls in love with an attractive and wealthy neighbor. She is not alone girl in this regard, there are three more inclusive of her sister. Her new life is full of challenges but she is well set to meet them all.
It would have been befitting if the audiences were presented with more Privileged seasons. Privileged was turning out to be a strongly gripping TV show. Sorily, its name has been added to unfortunate list of highly promising yet prematurely cancelled TV shows. Let us hope that a miracle happens and the show gets renewed.
